Candidate Introduction: Colin Allred

  Allred a Democrat  is running for election to the U.S Senate  to represent Texas.  Colin Allred was born and lives in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Hillcrest High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law. Before being elected to Congress, Allred played football in the National Football League (NFL) for the Tennessee Titans. After leaving the NFL, Allred earned a law degree and began practicing law. He then worked in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Obama administration.

  April McClain-Delaney is a Democrat, running for election to the U.S. House of Representative, to represent Maryland's 6th Congressional District.  The 6th District includes: all of Garrett, Allegany, Frederick, and Washington counties as well as a portion of Montgomery County. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024.  2024. She have won the Democratic primary on May 14, 2024. McClain-Delaney grew up in Buhl, Idaho, where her father was a potato farmer. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and her law degree from Georgetown Law Center. McClain-Delaney worked in communications law, first with the satellite firm Orion Network Systems and later as the Washington director for Common Sense Media, a nonprofit focused on technology and children. In 2022, McClain-Delaney joined the U.S. Department of Commerce under President Joe Biden (D) as deputy assistant secretary for communications and information. April and Family

  Angela Alsobrooks is a Democrat running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Maryland. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. She have won the Democratic primary on May 14, 2024. Alsobrooks is Prince George's County executive. She was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 after running unopposed in both general elections. Alsobrooks was also Prince George's County State's Attorney from 2011 to 2018 after running unopposed in the 2010 and 2014 general elections. Before she ran for public office, Alsobrooks was an assistant state's attorney in Prince George's County, where she handled domestic violence cases.   We have formed a super PAC with the principal goal of drastically increasing the turnout of voters from the Africa Diaspora in Texas, Maryland , the District of Columbia and Virginia. Referring to Census Data on African immigrants of Sub Sahara Africa of 2023, there are about 320.000 residents in the State of Texas 180.000 residents in the State of Maryland 200.000 residents in the District of Columbia 130.000 residents in the State of Virginia , most of them in Northern Virginia According to the Brennan Center for Justice (1) the voter turnout of African American is consistently less than 15% between 2008-2022 . We know that for those of the African Diaspora is even lower and from what we see in our own communities.
